Will Buy or Trade: Shallow Drip Pans

We're in the process of converting our B to use LP rather than natural gas and I'm looking for the shallow drip pans. We would need three, and the best situation would to be able to trade with someone. Do they ever come up for auction on Ebay? I've been keeping an eye out but have yet to see any.

I have at least one I'd be willing to trade with you. I bought it on eBay as an extra for my B & didn't realize it was a shallow one until it arrived. Since I'm on natural gas it isn't much use to me at this point. I'm also waiting on a 2nd one I purchased from the same seller that may turn out to be shallow as well, but I won't know until it is delivered. The one I do have is in pretty good shape (light scratch marks from cleaning &, if I remember properly, no big dings to the enamel).

I have a model b (well 2 now) and i noticed a slight difference in the drip pans, but both pans fit my stove (which is natural gas). are the two versions interchangeable for natural gas?

I checked the shallow one I have & it definitely won't work with natural gas. If you put it in the burner is too low to function properly.

While the regular ones are about 2" deep, the shallow one is a bit over 1" deep.

The drip-pans are interchangeable with the cutouts in the stove top, but not the burners. If you have the shallow drip-pans, you must also have to have the short Model B burners. Then you either need to shorten your pilot so the flashtubes are level with the shorter burners, or replace the pilot with the Model BZ pilot (which is the shorter one). Sounds complicated, but it's really not. I have both sets of pans/burners/pilot/orifices for my stove - it's presently set up for LP gas, but I kept the city gas parts in case I wind up in another house that's not LP.
